Entombed Support Grave John dee 02. June I came to John Dee a little late, and managed to loose most of the set from the swedes in Grave. But I cought four songs from these talented deathmetallers. …and they kicked arse. Grave play a very traditional form of deathmetal, and if you have not checked them out you should. Entombed I guess need no introduction. This time they showed up without guitarist Uffe, and with one guitar short I thought they were going to loose a lot of power in the music, but they indeed proved me wrong. Beeing one of the most intense livebands around they came out like a bulldozer and hit us hard. Frontman Lars Goran Petrov was as always in a good mood and with the rest of the band they served killer tracks from the whole of the career. They have a new album coming out 6th of june, but since it is not yet in stores they only played a few new songs. They played a long set and my memory is not good enough to recite the whole setlist, but they played more or less a couple of songs from each album. They closed of the evning with the song Supposed to rot from their debu Left hand path, where also the titeltrack was represented as well as revel in flesh. If to be dissapointed about anything they only played one song from their monster album Clandestine, Chaos Breed. I am absolutely shure if they come to town again I will show up and have a listen, cause this kind of excpertise on a livescene is hard to come by these days. Thumbs up for the swedish deathmetallers who have been in the game since 1990 and are still going strong!” reviewed by Crimzon <
